Warrior Nun Fandom

15 MILLION

Since the cancellation decision was announced on Twitter, Warrior Nun fans have refused to go quietly into the night. We've made enough noise to compile over 13 million tweets as of May 2023, captured the attention of multiple journalists, and gathered over 115,000 signatures on a petition calling for Netflix to renew the show.

EXCEPTIONAL DEMAND

As just one example of the demand for Warrior Nun, Parrot Analytics data has shown that even nearly three months after season 2 was released, the show continues to receive "Exceptional" demand, placing it among just 2% of all TV shows. Our fight has just begun, and we plan on making noise until Netflix or another streaming platform recognizes how special Warrior Nun is.

LET’S FIGHT

The show (and its cast and crew) deserves many more seasons, and we are going to fight until we get that for them. This page demonstrates the results of that fight!

Twitter Trends

When the show's cancellation was first announced by its showrunner, Simon Barry, multiple articles were published questioning the rationale (or lack thereof) behind Netflix's decision. One article, written by Forbes' Paul Tassi, was scathingly titled: "Netflix Cancels 'Warrior Nun,' Its Highest Audience-Scored Series Ever, For Reasons." Another article, from Screen Rant's El Kuiper, was titled "Netflix Set Warrior Nun Up To Fail." In the weeks since the cancellation, Warrior Nun fans have continued to grab the attention of journalists through Twitter trends. During one week in particular, fans trended the phrase "NETFLIX CORRECT YOUR MISTAKE," catching the attention of Business Insider, TV Insider, and Them. Most recently, Time Magazine had even weighed in about the fandom's attention to the cause. All in all, more than 100 articles around the world have been written about Netflix's questionable decision to cancel the show, indicating that the fans have no intention of giving up the fight any time soon.
