OCS: Twitter Handle and a little about yourself

@klosookami - Brazilian - 19 years old. Digital and traditional artist, and animator.

OCS: Project name and information?

"The ultimate Warrior Nun Collab" a Warrior Nun Season 3 continuation comic

Independent and non-profit project created to give the Warrior Nun series a worthy ending for halo bearers.

OCS: What inspired the project?

As we well know, the chance that the film trilogy will keep the original cast and writers doesn't seem very high, so with that in mind I decided to bring together people from the fandom so that we could produce a comic continuing the events of the second season of the series.

OCS: Project layout

I would like it to be possible to follow a single style as much as possible, and as my plan requires that there be more than one artist, each one will be assigned to specific functions, such as, for example, someone for planning scenes - the storyboard, someone for the lineart of the characters, someone for the background lineart, someone to apply the flat color to the main characters, someone to paint the background, and someone to take care of the shading of the scene.

There is also the thing, we need writers, after all, what is a comic without a story?

OCS: How will you collaborate on the project? Will it be through discord or another program?

Through discord, I already have a server with some moderators there. We need people willing to communicate and express their ideas to the rest of the group, to collaborate with others to discuss the best way to move the story forward. We need writer, reviewers, artists, translators, and people who are willing to talk about things to keep everything following the line of warrior nun that we know

OCS: How will the divide up work on the project?

We would look at and analyze everyone's work so we can match them with roles that fit their strengths. Like an artist who is good at creating scene settings, being a storyboard. Someone who is good at drawing faces and expressions, working with faces and expressions. In the case of writers, it would be something similar, what they are best at writing. Of course, it's free for them to choose the path they want to take, I'll just guide them where their skills could be best utilized

OCS: Will you take the ideas Simon lays out in his upcoming interview?

I intend to keep this as close to the series, so yes, I am very interested in what Simon will say in the interview.

#WarriorNunInktober Interview

OCS: How did you discover Warrior Nun?

I found out about warrior nun when one of my favorite artists drew a picture of Sister Beatrice and posted it on her Instagram, the concept was quite intriguing but it still took a few months before I decided to watch the series.

OCS: What made you want to fight to save the show?

Warrior nun for me was a very innovative series in terms of story, it's not every day that you see a previously paralyzed young woman come back to life thanks to a halo and discover that there is a group of warrior nuns who fight demons. The way the story is developed without rushing but also without delay, both for the main conflict and for the characters' relationships is also a positive point as it does not become tiring. Honestly, what made me watch the series wasn't the ship between sister Beatrice and the halo bearer, Ava, but after finding out that Netflix canceled the series right after season 2, and already knowing the streaming's history when it comes to canceling series with sapphic female protagonism, it was one of the main motivations to fight for warrior nun.

OCS: How did you discover WarriorNunInktober and a few of the reasons why you wanted to participate?

I found out about Warrior Nun Inktober just before the beginning of October. As an artist, Inktober is always a challenge that many of us are willing to participate in to test our skills. As these are two topics that interest me, I immediately decided to participate, both for fun and to generate more content for the fandom.

OCS: How did you find inspiration for some of the drawings?

My artwork often involves a fair amount of drama and angst depending on the context in which you choose to interpret it. As a vent artist, inspiration comes more easily for not-so-happy moments.

OCS: On average how long does one drawing take?

On average, a fully rendered drawing of mine takes around 3 hours to complete.

OCS: How many hours do you think you spent drawing for the WarriorNunInktober event?

It probably took me around 30 hours.

OCS: What was your favorite day prompt?

This would be day 5- the dance. Dancing is something that is generally interpreted as a happy activity that you can do alone or with a partner, but given how things ended last season, a sad moment seemed more appropriate.

OCS: What was the hardest prompt or drawing?

Day 4 - Cuba free. I just couldn't think of what I could draw for that day, everything seemed empty and colorless.

OCS: What is your favorite drawing you submitted?

Day 8 - church. drawing Beatrice, someone always calm and composed possessed by a legion of demons and looking ready to burn the world to ashes in her rage, seemed like an appealing idea, like when your character is too perfect and you just want to break them and see how they is still human at their core.

OCS: Were you surprised by the fandom’s reaction to your art?

I would say this is the first time that a fandom has interacted so much with my drawings and in such a recurring way, I think this is due to the emotional content that I draw from their favorite characters.

OCS: If people would like more information about your art, where can they go?

There is never much information about my art anywhere because I always forget to post anything very in-depth, if you want to see older work, just look on Instagram (autumn_gui) if you want to ask any questions about the drawings, my DMs are always open.

OCS: Any positive message you would like to send to the fandom?

Keep fighting, the films may not guarantee that we will get back what we want, but I will do my best to make sure we get what we deserve after so much struggle and effort.
